Eric is Certified by The Florida Bar as an expert in Condominium and Planned Development Law.

In addition to his extensive legal credentials, Eric is the founder of Condo Craze and HOAs, a platform he launched over 15 years ago to educate South Floridians on condo and HOA laws. Through this initiative, he has certified over 6,000 board members, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively manage their communities. Eric’s dedication to improving Florida’s community association landscape extends beyond education; he has been instrumental in helping draft critical condo legislation aimed at creating safer and more transparent governance for condo and HOA residents.

Karen Curtis

Karen Curtis brings over 25 years of broadcasting experience, both in front of the camera and behind the microphone. As Director of Operations for the Miami Bureau of Metro Networks, a Westwood One company, she established strong connections with South Florida’s television and radio outlets. Karen spent over a decade in Miami media, reporting from helicopters as a photojournalist and traffic reporter for Majic 102.7 and NBC 6. Her expertise took her to New York City, where she reported for WCBS.

 

Previously, Karen was a main anchor and health specialist for ABC affiliates in Gainesville and West Palm Beach, earning the U.P.I. “Best Reporter in State” award. A University of Hawaii graduate, she studied Journalism, Fine Art, and French while excelling as a world-class runner, earning the title “The Fastest Woman in Hawaii” by USA Today.

 

Beyond media, Karen is an accomplished watercolor artist, showcasing her work internationally.

ROBERT LISMAN

With over 15 years of experience in content marketing, branding, advertising, video production, and broadcasting, Robert Lisman has built a career at the intersection of media, technology, and storytelling. His passion for Condo Craze and HOAs stems from his personal experience as a condo resident and living next door to the Champlain Towers during its tragic collapse. Witnessing the flaws in Florida’s community association laws firsthand, Robert was inspired to help create the Condo Craze and HOAs YouTube show, combining his professional expertise with his commitment to driving meaningful reform and education.

 

Throughout his career, Robert has worked with leading broadcast and technology companies, where he developed expertise in crafting innovative media solutions and producing impactful content for diverse audiences. His contributions to advancing cloud-enabled remote editing technology earned him an Emmy Award, recognizing his ability to integrate technical innovation with creative storytelling.

 

Born and raised in Miami, Robert began his career in South Florida’s vibrant film and entertainment industry. Today, he channels his expertise into creating media that informs, entertains, and inspires change. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, ice hockey, and spending time with his wife and two children.
